Flowers

It's been a tradition at many workplaces in Japan, that colleagues would give flowers (bouquet) to anyone who is leaving the office (for retiring, being transferred, quitting etc.). We see many busy flower shops at the end of month, especially in March - the season for personnel shuffles for many Japanese companies). 
It's simply nice to have beautiful flowers at home, too.
